Rembrandt Lighting

After mastering shutter speed, aperture and ISO, we did a project using full manual mode. We learned a bit about Rembrandt Lighting, a type of portrait lighting in which one side of the face is illuminated and there is a triangle of light on the other cheek.

Learning To See

On the first day of photo class we took a walk outside. The goal of our walk was to start learning to visualize good photos. We stopped at four locations and wrote down ideas for photos, then those photos were taken.
